This position is responsible for various functions, staff, and daily operations within a banking center. The role involves implementing the Webster banking center network strategy, which includes achieving sales, customer service, P&L management, operations, and employee development goals.

What the Role Entails

As a Banking Center Manager, your responsibilities will include consistently meeting or exceeding all sales goals, retention goals, and Superior Service Quality (SSQ) standards. You will also be required to develop, implement, and manage a detailed business plan, actively cross-sell and resolve client issues, and support the segmentation strategy with existing clients to aid the Banking Center’s growth and profitability objectives.

In addition to this, the role also involves identifying, cultivating, and supporting key customer segment relationships, maintaining a working knowledge of all Webster asset, liability, and partner products and services, and ensuring timely completion of audits. You will also be tasked with scheduling all branch employee shifts to meet customer service needs and enhancing employee engagement through coaching, support, and constructive performance feedback.

Skills and Abilities

The role of a Banking Center Manager demands an intricate knowledge of retail banking products and services, strong customer service skills, relationship-building capabilities, organizational skills, computer skills, and comfort with current technology. Effective communication skills are also a crucial requirement for this role.

Education and Experience Qualifications

At a minimum, candidates for this role should have a High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED). However, a Bachelor’s Degree in Arts/Sciences (BA/BS) is preferred. Furthermore, 5-7 years of banking experience, with a proven track record in leadership, customer service, managerial, communication, and organization skills, is required.

The estimated salary range for this position is $70,000.00 to $115,000.00 USD annually. However, the actual salary may vary based on job-related factors such as knowledge, skills, experience, and location. Additionally, this position qualifies for incentive compensation.
