Responsibilities of a Digital Banking Product Administrator
The Digital Banking Product Administrator’s role is vast and varied. They’re responsible for realizing the bank’s digital strategy for both consumers and commercial clients. They serve as the vanguard for the bank’s evolving channel experiences, enabling customers to manage their finances seamlessly. This role also involves proposing development strategies for the organization and business processes, aligned with the bank’s business strategy.
Moreover, the Digital Banking Product Administrator manages the administrative platforms that support online and mobile banking. These platforms include Money Movement, Bill Pay, Zelle, Transfers, Alerts, and Mobile Deposits. They also handle customer communications regarding existing and new features or functionalities.
This role requires the ability to lead and deliver complex initiatives across the organization. It also involves collaborating with and guiding external agencies and vendors, including managing creative oversight, digital experience, and budgets. Like any dynamic role, it comes with other projects and duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Skills
United Bank seeks a highly qualified and experienced individual for the role of Digital Banking Product Administrator. The ideal candidate must have a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, with a Master’s Degree highly desired. The individual must also have eight to ten years of working experience in digital commerce strategies, technology digital marketing, agency management, and Fintech partnerships.
The bank also requires a candidate with a similar period of working experience in a retail/commercial banking leadership role with financial institutions or an equivalent consulting role. The candidate should have the ability to work independently and as part of a team and manage time and resources to meet assigned deadlines. The role demands a strong perspective on excellent digital consumer or enterprise experiences across multiple form factors.
Effective communication, ability to interpret customer and business needs, and translate them into requirements are key skills for this role. Proficiency in Microsoft Office products is also required. The candidate must be willing to travel up to 20% of the time.
