Join Our Team in Phoenix

We are currently seeking dedicated professionals to join our team in our Phoenix office for future customer service and sales opportunities in 2026. The office, located at Norterra Dr. (Happy Valley) and I-17, operates on a schedule that ranges from 6:00 am to 10:00 pm local time. The roles include a 15% shift differential for any weekday hours worked after 6:00 pm and any hours worked on Saturday or Sunday. Weekly work schedules vary and will include one weekend day. Military veterans and spouses are highly encouraged to apply. Please note that relocation assistance is not available for this position.

Role of a Bank Customer Service & Sales Representative

As a Bank Customer Service & Sales Representative at USAA, your role is to facilitate the financial security of our members through needs-based sales and service conversations. You will work within defined guidelines on a single Banking line of business or product set. This position is not just about selling; it’s about making a difference to our members by identifying immediate and underlying financial needs and providing relevant solutions through offering USAA Banking products and services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Handling inbound member calls in a fast-paced contact center environment
  • Using effective communication probing questions and critical thinking skills to identify member needs and provide relevant solutions
  • Efficiently navigating multiple systems and programs while maintaining an engaging member interaction
  • Developing banking product knowledge to attract new members and expand relationships with current members
  • Advising and educating members on available USAA digital tools and resources
  • Providing outstanding member service by demonstrating empathy, active listening, and professionalism
  • Applying strong time and call management skills in assisting members with banking needs
  • Embracing continuous improvement and development through coaching and collaboration with manager and team members

Qualifications

To qualify for this role, applicants must have a High School Diploma or GED, the ability to provide outstanding customer service, strong interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to prioritize and multitask. Additionally, successful completion of a job-related assessment is required.

Compensation and Benefits

The hiring range for this position is: $43,680.00 – $44,680.00. However, actual salary may vary by location. At USAA, we have an effective process for assessing market data and establishing ranges to ensure we remain competitive. Potential employees may also be eligible for pay incentives based on overall corporate and individual performance.
