Role Description
As a Client Banking Services Professional, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing the client experience at Charles Schwab Bank. Your primary responsibility will be to provide exceptional customer service to our clients who need assistance with their banking needs. On a typical day, you will handle 40-60 inbound calls, offering your expertise on a variety of banking products and services such as deposit accounts, online account management and bill pay, money movement, mobile banking, and debit cards. This role is phone-based and requires adept use of multiple computer applications and dual monitors.
What We’re Looking For
Required Qualifications
- A minimum of 1 year of work experience, which can include volunteer work, internships, and other roles in an office environment.
- Availability to work a set shift, which may include weekend or evening hours.
- A proven ability to multi-task, with experience in using multiple computing applications simultaneously.
- Willingness to work in the office up to 75% – 100% of the time, as required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Active listening skills, with an ability to engage in open-ended dialogue to understand the client’s financial needs fully.
- A commitment to resolving complex client inquiries, both through technology and by collaborating with Schwab business partners to identify efficient methods to meet client goals.
- An ability to establish rapport with clients over the phone, fostering long-term relationships with Schwab.
- A desire to be part of a supportive and collaborative team.
- High attention to detail, to adhere to extensive bank policies, procedures, and guidelines.
- A drive to learn from a dedicated team manager, who will help you achieve clear performance objectives by providing leadership support and on-the-job learning.
