The Role of a Client Banking Services Professional
As a Client Banking Services Professional, you will be at the forefront of providing outstanding customer service to clients of Charles Schwab Bank. Your primary responsibility will be to field 40-60 inbound calls daily, offering your expertise on various banking products and services. These include deposit accounts, online account management, bill pay, money movement, mobile banking, and debit cards. Please note, this is a phone-based role that requires proficiency in using multiple computer applications and dual monitors.
Essential Qualifications
To qualify for this position, you will need a minimum of 1 year of work experience, which may also include volunteer work, internships, or other roles in an office environment. Your shift may include weekend or evening hours. You should be capable of multitasking, with demonstrated experience in using multiple computing applications simultaneously. Additionally, you will need to be able to work in the office 75% – 100% of the time, as required.
Preferred Skills
While there are certain required qualifications, some preferred skills will set you apart. These include active listening skills and the ability to engage in open-ended dialogue to gain a thorough understanding of the client’s financial needs. You should also have a dedication to resolving complex client inquiries, both through technology and by working closely with business partners within Schwab. The ability to establish rapport with clients over the phone is a must, as is a high attention to detail to adhere to extensive bank policies, procedures, and guidelines. Lastly, you should have a drive to learn from a dedicated team manager who will provide leadership support and on-the-job learning.
