Role Overview and Responsibilities
As a Client Banking Services Professional at Schwab, you will be the face of the client experience, delivering exceptional customer service to Charles Schwab Bank’s clients. On a daily basis, you will be handling 40-60 inbound calls, offering your expertise on a range of banking products and services. These include deposit accounts, online account management and bill pay, money movement, mobile banking, and debit cards. This phone-based role requires proficiency in using multiple computer applications and dual monitors.
Qualifications and Requirements
The successful candidate will possess a minimum of one year of work experience, which can include internships, volunteer roles, or other positions in an office environment. The ability to multitask and demonstrate proficiency in using multiple computing applications simultaneously is essential. Candidates should be prepared to work a set shift, which may include evening or weekend hours.
Furthermore, the successful candidate must have the ability to work in the office for 75% – 100% of the time, as required.
Preferred Qualifications
Active listening skills are crucial for this role, along with the ability to engage in open-ended dialogue to gain a comprehensive understanding of the client’s financial needs. A dedication to resolving complex client inquiries through technology and by working closely with business partners within Schwab is also desired.
Additionally, the ability to establish rapport with clients over the phone to create long-term relationships with Schwab, a high attention to detail to adhere to extensive bank policies, procedures, and guidelines, and a desire to be part of a supportive and collaborative team are all preferred qualifications.
