They are also responsible for introducing clients to the appropriate departments within the bank, thereby maintaining an extensive knowledge of bank products and services.
Identifying Risks and Opportunities
One of their key responsibilities is to ensure the early identification of potential risks and escalate them to the appropriate authority level. Managing Complaints and Requests

Qualifications and Skills Required for the Role
Aspiring Client Service Professionals require a Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent. A minimum of five years of experience in client service, banking operations, or banking relationship management support is also required. Prior business banking experience is helpful but not mandatory.
They should possess a thorough knowledge of bank policies and procedures and regulatory compliance. A solid understanding of all phases of operations such as installment loans, new accounts, loan payments, statement handling, and wires is also crucial for the role.
Strong problem-solving skills, excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills, and strong organizational and time management skills are other essential qualifications for this role. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) is also required.

The starting base salary for a Client Service Professional ranges between $59,467 – $94,975 per year. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. The job is also eligible for bonuses or commissions.
