Make a Difference as a Senior Relationship Banker
In the role of a Senior Relationship Banker, you will be responsible for managing and enhancing client relationships. Your focus will be on attracting and retaining new clients while strengthening existing ones. You will directly manage and grow a client portfolio of high value consumer and small business clients.
Your role involves maximizing cross-sales opportunities through effective customer profiling, with the ultimate goal of cultivating interest in various consumer and business banking products. You will deliver an exceptional customer experience through engagement of customers in the branch, over the phone, and through collaboration with business partners. The Senior Relationship Banker provides comprehensive support to clients, ensuring their needs are met and issues are resolved efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
As a Senior Relationship Banker, your responsibilities will include independently managing a portfolio comprised of both high value consumer clients and small business customers. You will proactively deepen relationships with new and existing customers by maintaining contact through early engagement calls and regular outreach to portfolio customers. Your role will require you to be the expert on Santander products and services, and be able to articulate the benefits that will help customers based on their needs. You will also collaborate with team members and partners to achieve branch goals and drive overall performance.
What You Bring to the Role
Successful candidates for this role have a strong financial acumen with general knowledge of consumer and small business products, and lending. A proven track record in sales and cross-selling products and services is a must. You should be able to manage a portfolio of clients effectively, and have strong relationship-building skills with a customer-centric approach. Your excellent communication, consultative and influence skills will be crucial to your success in this role.
