Job Role and Responsibilities
As a Compliance Business Oversight Manager, you will play a key role in reshaping compliance structures and processes, driving innovation at every level. You will primarily focus on compliance matters impacting Consumer Banking, ensuring business practices align with applicable federal and state regulatory requirements. You will serve as the primary compliance support for assigned business lines, manage, and track compliance-related issues, and lead regulatory change management efforts for new and updated state laws.
The role requires strong regulatory knowledge, issue and change management expertise, and the ability to partner with business leaders to identify risks, remediate gaps, and strengthen compliance controls. You will also review and validate first-line testing to ensure gaps are addressed and aligned with regulatory expectations, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to strengthen the compliance framework and reduce risk exposure.
Who Should Apply?
TD Bank is looking for candidates with an undergraduate degree or equivalent work experience, with at least 7+ years of experience in a relevant field. Strong subject matter expertise and knowledge of consumer banking regulations, specifically as they impact delivery channels, are crucial for this role. Experience in compliance monitoring, testing, and control mapping, and issue management and regulatory change management is also required.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, presentation skills, relationship-building skills, and a proactive, results-oriented, and adaptable mindset are crucial for this role. A CRCM certification is preferred, and experience with Artificial Intelligence initiative implementations in a consumer banking setting is a plus.
