Some of the key responsibilities include identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, conducting client and prospect meetings to assess financial needs, prospecting new business relationships, performing comprehensive financial analyses, developing and recommending loan structures, negotiating loan terms, managing an active loan portfolio, conducting regular portfolio reviews, and collaborating with credit and portfolio management teams.

The Business Banking Relationship Manager III also serves as the primary relationship manager, functioning as the “gatekeeper” for the bank. This involves deepening client relationships, providing exceptional customer service, partnering with internal teams, and mentoring and coaching junior relationship managers.

Minimum Qualifications for the Role

To qualify for the role of a Business Banking Relationship Manager III at WSFS Bank, one must possess a bachelor’s degree in business or finance or equivalent experience. The role requires an experienced business lender with 7+ years of new business development experience and direct sourcing and prospecting new clients. The candidate must also have 7+ years of business lending experience in the financial industry, proven history of managing relationships, developing new business, sustaining consistent production, and ability to perform in multiple goal categories. Additionally, the candidate should have strong knowledge of business lending, consumer lending, deposit products, and credit experience, loan structuring, and financial statement analysis.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for the Business Banking Relationship Manager III position at WSFS Bank ranges from $108,722.00 to $178,616.75. Individual base pay may vary based on factors such as the candidate’s experience, job-related skills, relevant education, geographic location, and other specific business and organizational needs. Besides the base salary, WSFS Financial Corporation (WSFS) and its subsidiaries may offer eligible Associates discretionary and formula-based incentive and retention awards.
