The bank is currently seeking a Business Banking Relationship Manager II, a key role focused on managing and developing relationships with small-to-medium-sized businesses, delivering customized financial solutions, and driving business growth.
About the Role: Business Banking Relationship Manager II
The Business Banking Relationship Manager II at WSFS Bank manages relationships with small-to-medium-sized businesses with up to $5 million in annual revenues. The role involves delivering customized financial solutions with total credit exposure up to $3 million. This role is sales-driven and requires a proven history of developing new businesses and managing relationships.
The incumbent will be responsible for sourcing and analyzing client opportunities, structuring loans, monitoring portfolio performance, and actively collaborating with internal and external partners to enhance client value. In addition, the role includes end-to-end relationship management, providing a full-service business banking experience that includes lending, deposit, and non-credit products to support the financial goals of business clients.
Key Job Responsibilities
The Business Banking Relationship Manager II will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including:
- Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities through self-generated referrals and an established network of CPAs, attorneys, business brokers, and commercial real estate professionals.
- Conducting client and prospect meetings to assess their financial needs, challenges, and opportunities, tailoring banking solutions to meet their goals.
- Prospecting new business relationships and cross-selling bank solutions and services.
- Training and mentoring new and less experienced small business relationship managers on lending procedures, policies, and regulations.
- Partnering with internal teams to deliver comprehensive solutions for clients.
- Cultivating deep client relationships through consistent engagement and cross-selling of banking solutions.
- Managing an active loan portfolio, ensuring compliance with loan terms, policies, and regulatory requirements.
- Performing comprehensive financial analysis to determine creditworthiness and negotiating loan terms.
Minimum Qualifications
The ideal candidate for the Business Banking Relationship Manager II role should have the following qualifications:
- A minimum of 5 years of business lending experience in the financial industry.
- Experience with utilizing a CRM system to manage and monitor progress in sales pipeline.
- Knowledge of business lending, consumer lending, and deposit products.
- Ability to travel within the WSFS Bank footprint.
Compensation and Benefits
The salary range for this position is $90,604.00 – $148,847.50. Individual base pay may vary based on factors such as experience, job-related skills, education, geographic location, and other specific business and organizational needs. In addition to base salary, WSFS Bank may offer eligible associates discretionary and formula-based incentive and retention awards.
