Role and Responsibilities of a Business Banking Assistant
The role of a Business Banking Assistant is customer-facing and requires a great deal of interaction with our valued clients. This position demands a keen understanding of commercial lending practices and meticulous attention to detail to ensure that processes and procedures are followed to the letter. The ability to communicate professionally and complete tasks efficiently is crucial.
As a Business Banking Assistant, you will be responsible for interviewing loan applicants to gather information and verify references. You will also need to prepare loan request papers and forward findings, reports, and documents to the loan administration department. Once the loan is approved, you will be responsible for completing transactions between the loan establishment, borrowers, and sellers. In addition to these responsibilities, you will share the task of interviewing individuals wanting to open bank accounts and processing new accounts.

Job Duties
As a Business Banking Assistant, you will be required to undertake a range of duties, including accepting payments on accounts, advising customers regarding loans and transactions, assembling and compiling documents for loan closings, checking the value of customer collateral to be held as loan security, establishing credit limits, and interviewing loan applicants to obtain personal and financial data.
