The Branch Banking Client Consultant II is responsible for delivering a top-notch experience to every client. This role involves handling and resolving client concerns, delivering detailed information on various banking products, and meeting the financial needs of clients. But that’s not all. This role also focuses on managing client relationships, retaining clients, and introducing clients to key bank partners, such as Mortgage and Business Banking experts. This ensures that clients have access to the specialists they need to meet their financial goals.
This role also involves a greater degree of lending and basic investment interactions, and the position holder will be expected to participate in more complex banking conversations with clients. The hourly range for this position is between $19.13 to $28.69.
What Does the Job Entail?
The Client Consultant II has a variety of responsibilities. From supporting the team in achieving financial performance targets such as outstanding deposits, loans, and non-interest income, to acquiring primary clients and executing successful sales initiatives. This role is all about sales performance.
On the other hand, this role also places a strong emphasis on the client experience. The Client Consultant II helps answer account-related questions, resolve issues, and handle complaints. They are expected to resolve issues in an effective and timely manner while also providing client engagement and education.
Another key aspect of this role is risk management. This involves executing all sales, service, and banking transactions accurately and compliantly, with the aim of avoiding any controllable losses. They will also be expected to perform moderately complex special projects and other duties as required.
From a regulatory perspective, the Client Consultant II must adhere to all regulatory and compliance policies and standards linked to the job. This includes completing required compliance training and maintaining compliance with federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
Job Requirements
As for the requirements for this role, a high school education or equivalent is required. In addition, 4 – 5 years of customer service and sales experience, preferably in the financial services industry, is required. Registration in the National Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS) under the S.A.F.E. Act of 2008 and Regulation Z is preferred, but can be completed after the job entry date. The ability to train and mentor others, including on product and platform procedures, is also required. Experience with using and demonstrating digital products and self-service technologies is preferred, but not mandatory.
