The role of a Branch Banking-Client Consultant II-Float is a unique position that requires a high degree of mobility, adaptability, and people skills. This position involves traveling between assigned branches to provide customers with exceptional financial services. The focus of this role is on client management, client retention, and providing introductions to key bank partners.
The Client Consultant II-Float ensures that clients’ financial needs are met by resolving concerns and providing various product details. This position is integral to the overall client experience, requiring the consultant to engage in more complex banking conversations and interactions involving lending and basic investments.

The pay range for this position is $19.13 – $23.91 – $28.69. Job Responsibilities
Sales Performance
The Client Consultant II-Float supports team efforts to achieve growth targets in financial performance, client acquisition, and successful sales initiatives. This position requires proactive participation to seek and deliver the right client introductions to the right team member(s).
Client Experience
Creating a positive client experience is paramount. This involves assisting with account questions, resolving problems or complaints effectively, and engaging with clients to educate them about the bank’s services. The consultant is expected to meet behavioral activity goals set by Retail Leadership.
Risk Management
The Client Consultant II-Float is responsible for executing all sales, service, and banking transactions accurately and compliantly, aiming for no controllable losses. This role also involves participating in moderately complex special projects.
Compliance
Adherence to regulatory and compliance policies is a must, along with completing required compliance trainings. The consultant is accountable for maintaining compliance with applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
Job Requirements
The minimum educational requirement for this position is a High School Diploma or its equivalent (GED, HiSET, TASC, or Foreign Equivalent). The role demands 4 – 5 years of customer service and sales experience, preferably in the financial services industry. The position may also require National Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS) registration under the terms of the S.A.F.E. Act of 2008 and Regulation Z. This can be completed after the job entry date.
Additionally, the role requires the ability to train and mentor others in products and platform procedures. Experience with using and demonstrating digital products and self-service technologies is preferred.
