The role encompasses client management and retention, as well as introducing clients to key bank partners in Mortgage and Business Banking. This ensures that clients have access to a wide range of experts who can assist them in achieving their financial goals.
With a pay range of $19.13 – $23.91 – $28.69, the role not only compensates well but also offers a wealth of experience in various aspects of banking, including lending and basic investment interactions. The Branch Banking-Client Consultant II-Float is also involved in more complex banking conversations with clients.
Key Responsibilities
This role is multi-faceted and includes a variety of responsibilities. These include:
- Sales Performance: The Branch Banking-Client Consultant II-Float is expected to support team efforts to achieve growth targets in financial performance and primary client acquisition. They also deliver the right client introductions to the right team member(s) to achieve growth targets and execute successful sales initiative.
- Client Experience: This role is pivotal in providing a positive client experience by assisting with account questions, problems and/or complaints. Through research and communication, they resolve issues in a timely and effective manner. They also deliver client engagement and Education. Meeting behavioral activity goals as defined by Retail Leadership is also part of this role.
- Risk Management: They are expected to execute all sales, service, and banking transactions accurately and compliantly, striving for no controllable losses.
- Additionally, the Branch Banking-Client Consultant II-Float performs more moderately complex special projects, and additional duties and responsibilities as required.
- Adherence to regulatory and compliance policies and standards linked to the job is crucial, as is completing required compliance trainings. They are accountable to maintain compliance with applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations.
Job Requirements
Prospective candidates must meet certain requirements to qualify for this role:
- A High School / High School Equivalency (GED, HiSET, TASC) / Foreign Equivalent is required.
- A minimum of 4 – 5 years of customer service and sales experience, preferably in the financial services industry.
- National Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS) registration under the terms of the S.A.F.E. Act of 2008 and Regulation Z may be required. NMLS registration can be completed after job entry date.
- An ability to train and mentor others, including products and platform procedures, is required.
- Experience in financial services industry is preferred.
- Experience with using and demonstrating digital products and self-service technologies is preferred.
