Responsibilities of a Branch Banking Client Consultant II (Float)
The Branch Banking Client Consultant II (Float) is tasked with several responsibilities aimed at achieving the bank’s financial targets and maintaining client satisfaction. Here are some of the role’s key responsibilities:
- Sales Performance: The job role involves supporting team efforts to achieve growth targets in financial performance, including outstanding deposits, outstanding loans, and non-interest income. This involves active participation in introducing the right clients to the right team members to achieve growth targets and execute successful sales initiatives.
- Client Experience: The consultant ensures a positive client experience by promptly and effectively resolving account queries, problems, and/or complaints. This involves delivering client engagement and education, setting and completing weekly appointments, and meeting clients’ needs.
- Risk Management: The role involves perfectly executing all sales, service, and banking transactions while adhering strictly to regulatory and compliance policies and standards.
- The consultant also undertakes moderately complex special projects and other duties as required.
Job Requirements
Flagstar Bank seeks a highly skilled and experienced professional for this role. The job requirements include:
- A High School / High School Equivalency (GED, HiSET, TASC) / Foreign Equivalent
- 4 – 5 years of customer service and sales experience, preferably in the financial services industry
- Possibly requiring National Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS) registration under the terms of the S.A.F.E. Act of 2008 and Regulation Z. NMLS registration can be completed after job entry date.
- Ability to train and mentor others, including in products and platform procedures
- Experience with using and demonstrating digital products and self-service technologies is preferred
