Sales Performance:
The role involves supporting team efforts to achieve growth targets in financial performance, such as outstanding deposits, loans, and non-interest income, as well as primary client acquisition. It also involves actively seeking and delivering the right client introductions to the right team members to achieve growth targets and execute successful sales initiatives.
Client Experience:
As a Client Consultant II, providing a positive client experience is paramount. This involves assisting with account questions, problems, and complaints and resolving them in a timely and effective manner. The role also includes engaging with clients and delivering education to them. Behavioral activity goals, as defined by Retail Leadership, must also be met. These can include, but are not limited to, NextGen and marketing campaign lead calling, weekly appointments set, weekly appointments completed, and needs met.
Risk Management:
Another crucial aspect of the role is executing all sales, service, and banking transactions accurately and compliantly, striving for no controllable losses. It also involves undertaking moderately complex special projects, additional duties, and responsibilities as required. Adherence to regulatory and compliance policies and standards linked to the job is also a requirement, along with completion of required compliance training. Accountability for maintaining compliance with applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations is also part of the role.
Job Requirements
The role of a Branch Banking – Client Consultant II requires certain qualifications and experience, including:
- High School / High School Equivalency (GED, HiSET, TASC) / Foreign Equivalent, required
- 4 – 5 years of customer service and sales experience, including in the financial services industry
- National Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS) registration under the terms of the S.A.F.E. Act of 2008 and Regulation Z, preferred. NMLS registration can be completed after job entry date
- Ability to train and mentor others, including products and platform procedures
- Experience with using and demonstrating digital products and self-service technologies, preferred
