Key Responsibilities of a Branch Banking Client Consultant
As a Branch Banking Client Consultant, your role is divided into three main areas: Sales Performance, Client Experience, and Risk Management. The first, encompassing 40% of your time, involves supporting the team to achieve growth targets in financial performance and primary client acquisition. You will seek the right client introductions to the appropriate team members and execute successful sales initiatives.
The second area, Client Experience, constitutes 30% of your time. Here, you will deliver a positive client experience by assisting with account questions, resolving problems, and addressing complaints in a timely and effective manner. Through your interactions, you will be facilitating client engagement and education.
The final 30% of your time will be dedicated to Risk Management. This involves delivering accurate financial transactions daily while adhering to all applicable bank policies and regulations. The goal is to strive for no controllable preventable losses.
Additional Accountabilities
Apart from these primary responsibilities, you may also be required to undertake special projects and additional duties as necessary. You will be expected to consistently adhere to regulatory and compliance policies, standards linked to the job, and complete required compliance trainings. You will also be accountable for maintaining compliance with applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
Job Requirements for a Branch Banking Client Consultant
The minimum qualifications for this position include a High School diploma or equivalent and 0 – 3 years of customer service and sales experience. However, experience in the financial services industry is preferred.
