Role and Responsibilities
The Client Consultant I plays a critical role in the branch’s day-to-day operations, serving as the first point of contact for customers as they enter the branch. Responsibilities include greeting clients, assisting them with their financial needs, and ensuring their experience is positive and efficient. The role also involves processing financial transactions accurately and promptly, thus requiring a high level of attention to detail and commitment to operational standards.
Another important aspect of the job involves supporting the team’s efforts to meet growth targets in financial performance. This includes contributing towards outstanding deposits, loans, and non-interest income, as well as primary client acquisition. The successful candidate will also be responsible for introducing the right clients to the right team members to drive growth and execute successful sales initiatives.
Sales Performance
As part of the sales performance aspect of the role, the Client Consultant I will need to actively seek and introduce the right clients to the right team members. This is crucial for achieving growth targets and executing successful sales initiatives.
Client Experience
The Client Consultant I will be responsible for providing a positive client experience. This includes assisting with account questions, problems, and/or complaints. Through communication and research, these issues should be resolved in a timely and effective manner. The role also involves delivering client engagement and education, meeting behavioral activity goals as defined by Retail Leadership, including, but not limited to, referrals.
Management
The role requires daily management of financial transactions, with an emphasis on accuracy and timeliness. The successful candidate will understand and adhere to all bank policies and regulations, ensuring no preventable losses occur. They will also undertake special projects as required and consistently adhere to regulatory and compliance policies and standards linked to the job.
Job Requirements
Applicants for the position should have a High School diploma or equivalent, and 0 – 3 years of customer service and sales experience. While experience in the financial services industry is preferred, it is not a mandatory requirement. The essential requirement is a commitment to providing exceptional customer service and a willingness to learn.
