Key Responsibilities
As the Branch Banking Assistant Leader, your responsibilities will be multifaceted and dynamic. The job entails driving business performance, providing sales leadership and coaching, improving client experience, and managing risks.
Business Performance
The Assistant Leader is expected to drive market growth and financial performance by managing primary client relationships. This means meeting growth targets in deposits, loans, and non-interest income, and executing successful sales initiatives. Furthermore, the role involves making the right client introductions to the right team members to achieve growth targets.
Sales Leadership and Coaching
Another significant aspect of this role involves supporting the coaching, development, and mentorship of team members. This includes reinforcing training and development, and ensuring that all staff comply with compliance requirements. The Assistant Leader supports the execution of partner produced sales and marketing initiatives and is responsible for assisting the Branch Banking Leader with talent management functions, including employment, performance evaluations, staff development/training, and disciplinary actions.
Client Experience

Job Requirements
The required qualifications for this role include a high school diploma or equivalent, a minimum of 2 years of branch sales experience, experience with a variety of banking products, and experience with banking risk management. Preference will be given to candidates with an undergraduate degree or equivalent experience, 4+ years of branch banking or financial institution sales experience, and leadership experience.
