Basic Qualifications and Job Expectations
Candidates for the Banking Relationship Specialist role should ideally possess a high school diploma or equivalent, with a bachelor’s degree preferred. At least a year of retail customer service or sales experience is required, along with knowledge of business and consumer products. Additional qualifications include the ability to explain bank products, online banking, mobile banking applications, and banking cards, amongst others. Proven sales aptitude and experience in a leadership or coaching role are strongly preferred. Completion of the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS) is also required.
