Banking Officer Pay Ranges
The hiring pay ranges for Banking Officer positions at ANB Bank are as follows:
- Banking Officer III – $90,000.00 – $108,000.00 per year
- Banking Officer IV – $96,000.00 – $120,000.00 per year
- Banking Officer V – $108,000.00 – $138,000.00 per year
Note that these figures include a 20% Cost of Living Adjustment. Employees in these positions may be eligible to receive an additional $2,080.00 per year if approved for the Spanish Communication Assistant Program.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Banking Officers at ANB Bank are responsible for originating, processing, and servicing the credit needs of businesses, consumers, and professionals within the marketplace. They also maintain and solicit related depository accounts and other fee-generating services. Officers provide support to all retail and Treasury Management functions and must maintain a working knowledge of all operational functions. They are therefore expected to:
- Service the credit needs of customers and prospects
- Apply ongoing administration and review of credit until ultimate collection
- Detect potential problems and apply techniques of problem loan administration
- Be fully responsible for the loans they handle
- Manage commercial loan portfolios daily
- Act as a relationship manager for assigned customers
- Expand customer base through networking and sales calling
- Participate in community involvement activities
- Deliver the quality of service as defined by department standards
Education and Experience
The education and experience required varies based on the Banking Officer level:
Banking Officer III
For this role, a minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial lines lending is required. The individual must possess higher developed skills in relationship management, business development, credit analysis, credit presentation, and underwriting than lower-level lenders.
Banking Officer IV
This role requires a minimum of 8 years of experience in commercial lines lending or an equivalent combination of education and experience. The individual should have a proven level of highly developed skills in relationship management, business development, credit analysis, credit presentation, and underwriting.
Banking Officer V
A minimum of 10 years of experience in commercial lines lending is required for this role, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. The individual should have a proven level of highly developed skills in relationship management, business development, credit analysis, credit presentation, and underwriting.
