The Investment Banking group at Citi provides critical sector expertise and strategic advisory solutions, including mergers & acquisitions, capital raising, and other strategic financings to corporate, financial service, and public sector clients. The role of a Summer Analyst is pivotal within this team, providing key research, analysis, and support to drive transactions and initiatives.
The Summer Analyst Program is a 10-week intensive training experience that commences in June. It begins with a comprehensive 1.5-week training program designed to equip participants with the necessary knowledge and skills to excel in their role. In addition to this, analysts are eligible to participate in Citi’s mentorship program, providing further support and guidance throughout the summer and beyond.
What Does a Summer Analyst Do?
A Summer Analyst’s role at Citi is multi-faceted, involving a range of tasks and responsibilities. Key duties include collecting and analyzing company information to support transactions, conducting industry research, developing financial models, and creating business development presentations. Analysts will also coordinate tasks with internal and external teams, and ensure compliance with internal documentation requirements.
Who Can Apply?
Prospective candidates should be graduating between December 2027 and June 2028, with a preferred GPA of 3.5 or above. Compensation and Benefits
The annual salary for the Summer Analyst role is $110,000.
