As a CB Intern Analyst NE, you will also be part of Citi’s Banking group, working alongside Corporate Bankers. These professionals are responsible for understanding the complex financial issues facing clients globally and driving the dialogue on capital structure, liability management, liquidity and funding strategies, risk management, and investment solutions. Unique to Citi, Corporate Bankers also decide where to invest the firm’s capital and execute those investments.

The Journey: From Classroom to Boardroom

This career journey begins with a 10-week Summer Analyst Program starting in June, preceded by a comprehensive 1 and a half week training program. Once you are matched with a Corporate Banking team, you will work with them for the duration of the Program. You will also be eligible to participate in Citi’s mentorship program, providing further training and guidance.

As a Summer Analyst, you will conduct accounting and financial statement analysis, cash flow modeling, and capital markets analysis. You will also complete fundamental risk and credit analysis, liaise with product partners, assist in presenting new ideas to clients, and structure deals and transactions.

Eligibility and Desired Qualities

If you are graduating between December 2027 and June 2028 and have a preferred GPA of 3.3 or above, you may be the perfect fit for this position. Citi offers a competitive salary in the range of $100,000.00 – $135,000.00, along with medical, dental, and vision coverage; 401(k); life, accident, and disability insurance; and wellness programs.
