What Can You Expect from This Position?
As a team member at Magnifi Financial, you will be entrusted with a range of responsibilities. These include assisting members with their banking needs, responding to member requests, problems, or complaints in person, via phone, or email, and using the sales process to recommend Credit Union products and services to members based on their financial needs.
You will also be required to maintain a cash drawer, create professional and lasting relationships with members of the banking industry, participate in community-related activities, attend regular branch meetings, undergo training opportunities, and work on assigned projects.
What Will You Learn?
This position offers a wealth of learning opportunities. You will become familiar with Magnifi Financial’s member service standards and gain experience working with members in a professional environment. You will also learn to process financial transactions accurately and efficiently and gain a deep understanding of Magnifi Financial’s products.
Moreover, you will also learn about deposit accounts and related compliance and industry regulations, such as BSA, Reg D, Reg CC, etc. The experience you gain in this role will be invaluable in enhancing your understanding of the financial industry and its workings.
Who Can Apply?
Applicants must possess a high school diploma or equivalent or be actively pursuing one. They should have a positive attitude, excellent communication and relationship-building skills, and the ability to maintain confidentiality. They should also be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with constantly changing priorities. A minimum of six months of customer service experience is also required.
Schedule and Compensation
The position is for Summer 2026 (May/June – August), with an end date to be determined upon offer. The role is full-time, with 40 hours per week, typically between 8 am and 5 pm from Monday through Friday. There is also potential for Saturday shifts from 9 am to noon.
The salary range for the position is $16.95/hr. through $25.42/hr. The exact salary will vary based on factors such as location, internal equity, skills, experience, education, and qualifications for the role.
