What Does the Position Entail?
In your role at Magnifi Financial Credit Union, you will assist members with their banking needs, respond to requests, problems, or complaints in person, over the phone, or by e-mail. Moreover, you will identify and recommend Credit Union products and services to members based on their financial needs.
Additionally, you will maintain a cash drawer, establish professional and lasting relationships with members of the banking industry, participate in community-related activities, attend regular branch meetings, and take part in training opportunities. You will also be given the opportunity to work on projects as assigned.
What Will I Learn?
The position promises a wealth of learning opportunities. You will learn the Magnifi Financial member service standards and gain experience working with members in a professional environment. You will also gain experience processing financial transactions accurately and efficiently, and learn the ins and outs of Magnifi Financial’s products and procedures.
Furthermore, you will gain experience maintaining a cash drawer, learn about the Magnifi Financial sales process, and gain experience selling and recommending products and services. You will also learn about deposit accounts as well as deposit compliance and industry regulations, such as BSA, Reg D, Reg CC, among others, and gain experience applying these regulations.
Qualifications and Experience
The ideal candidate should have a high school diploma or equivalent or be actively pursuing a high school diploma. The candidate should have a positive attitude, excellent communication, and relationship-building skills, and the ability to maintain confidentiality. The ability to work in a fast-paced environment with constantly changing priorities is also required. Moreover, the candidate should have at least six months of customer service experience.
The Schedule
The position is for Summer 2026 (May/June – August), with the end date to be determined upon offer. The role is full-time, with a standard 40-hour workweek. The typical schedule is Monday through Friday, 9 am to 5 pm, with rotating Saturdays from 9 am to noon.
Remuneration and Benefits
The salary range is $16.95/hr. through $25.42/hr. Salaries vary based on factors such as location, internal equity, skills, experience, education, and qualifications for the role. In addition, the position comes with benefits such as Paid Time Off (PTO)/Earned Sick and Safe Time (ESST), which begin accruing upon the date of hire.
