Position Overview: Banking Consultant at Magnifi Financial
The role of a Banking Consultant at Magnifi Financial is an essential part of the member experience, providing personalized financial advice and services to our members. This is a multi-faceted position that requires a unique blend of customer service skills, financial expertise, and sales experience. The primary responsibilities involve consulting with Magnifi Financial members in person, over the phone, and through various digital channels, recommending and selling products and services tailored to individual financial needs, and performing member transactions in a timely, accurate, and courteous manner.
Work Schedule and Essential Duties
The position requires availability for the Saturday rotation, although this is subject to change based on business need. The core duties of this role include assisting members with routine transactions, including those involving teller machines, creating a remarkable member experience by responding and providing resolutions to member requests with expertise, consulting with members to recommend Magnifi Financial products and services based on their financial needs, and making necessary referrals to appropriate departments. The Banking Consultant is also responsible for the day-to-day operation of ATM machines, including maintaining cash drawer and cash recycler, and deposit and restocking of ATM.
Account Services and Digital Solutions
The Banking Consultant also performs a range of account services, including setting up mobile deposit, mobile banking and digital banking, credit and debit card activation, handling debit card inquiries, transfers, funding loans, address changes, stop payments, check orders, and more. A significant part of the role is transforming the way banking is done by encouraging and coaching members to adopt new digital solutions, such as mobile banking, digital banking, and ATMs.

Education, Experience, and Benefits
The minimum educational requirement for this position is a high school diploma or equivalent, although a two-year degree is preferred. Previous experience in customer service and/or sales is required, and the Notary Public designation is optional. Compensation and Who We Are
The salary range for this position is between $19.53/hr. and $29.29/hr., depending on factors such as location, internal equity, skills, experience, education, and qualifications for the role. The total compensation package varies based on the position and may include bonuses, performance-based incentives, commission, and/or discretionary bonuses.
