Join Our Team
We are currently seeking a highly motivated individual to join our team in the role of a Banking Center Senior Relationship Banker. This pivotal role is responsible for achieving sales, service, and operation goals for the Banking Center, based on Webster’s Strategic Guidelines. The individual will also be expected to step into a leadership position, assuming responsibility for the branch in the Banking Center Manager’s absence.
Responsibilities and Expectations
In this role, you will work closely with existing clients and prospects to deepen the share of wallet and increase market share. The Senior Relationship Banker plays a vital role in coaching staff to cross-sell products and services, leveraging their working knowledge of Webster’s product offerings. The successful candidate will also assist in completing required operational tasks, ensuring the team consistently meets or exceeds audit objectives.
As a team leader, you will also be expected to develop and maintain strong partnerships with various business segments through regular collaboration and communication. Your ability to supervise and coach others will be crucial to your success in this role.
Skills and Abilities
The ideal candidate for this position should possess a working knowledge of all products and services offered by Webster. You should be familiar with all systems used for branch transaction processing and demonstrate strong customer service skills. The ability to support teamwork and create a positive working environment is essential. Flexibility in work schedule, including potential weekend shifts and travel to alternate Banking Centers, is also required.
Education and Experience Qualifications
A high school diploma or General Education Degree (GED) is mandatory for this role, though college education is preferred. The ideal candidate should also have 3-4 years of customer sales/service experience, along with 1-2 years of supervisory experience. A proven track record in leading, coaching, and motivating is also crucial.
The estimated salary range for this position is $24.00 to $30.00 USD an hour, subject to variations based on job-related factors including knowledge, skills, experience, and location. This position is also eligible for incentive compensation.
