Job Opportunity: Banking Back Office Operations Analyst
Jack Henry is currently seeking a motivated Banking Back Office Operations Analyst who loves to travel and is excited to join their dynamic team. In this role, the professional will serve as a key liaison between the company’s bank clients and the software installation team, traveling across the country to support the implementation of new or enhanced software applications across areas such as Deposit Operations, General Ledger, and Loan Operations.
As an analyst, you’ll guide clients through every stage of the process, from pre-installation planning and coordination to hands-on installation, training, and post-installation support. The role requires extensive overnight travel throughout the United States, making it an ideal position for someone who thrives in a client-facing environment and enjoys being on the move.
Although this is a remote position, candidates must reside within approximately a 70-mile radius of Jack Henry’s office locations in Allen, TX; Birmingham, AL; Cedar Falls, IA; Charlotte, NC; Lenexa, KS; Louisville, KY; Springfield, MO; or Monett, MO. Role Responsibilities
The Banking Back Office Operations Analyst will be responsible for the implementation, design, and training for Jack Henry banking software applications, including Loan Operations, General Ledger, and Deposit Operations. The analyst will consult with banking clients to design parameter sets, validate data conversions, and deliver training on application functionality.
The role requires preparing clients for installation, guiding them through the setup process, and providing post-installation training and support. The analyst will also be responsible for system setup tasks such as parameter configuration, job file creation, and ensuring business processes run correctly on the software.
Desired Skills and Experience
The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 18 months of experience working in a financial institution in areas such as deposit operations (teller, new accounts, back office), general ledger, or other accounting-related functions, or Loan Operations. The position requires 50-60% travel for software implementations, typically 1-2 trips per month, with each trip lasting 5-9 days. The company covers all travel expenses, including airfare, meals, lodging, and transportation.
Although not required, previous bank data conversion experience, familiarity with Silverlake or 20/20 software, and a Bachelor’s degree within Finance or Accounting would be advantageous.
