About the Role
The Banking Associate will play a fundamental role in delivering TD’s Brand promise at a store location. This professional will handle everyday banking transactions and provide advice and educational support on services, products, and tools to help customers achieve their financial goals. The role entails a wide range of tasks across multiple areas within a store location including processing customer transactions, opening new accounts, and educating customers on all banking products and services.
Key Responsibilities
The Banking Associate will be expected to deliver end-to-end advice customers expect, building trust with educational content & tools, providing consultative support, and advocating with proactive insights & recommendations. The role also involves utilizing TD’s systems and tools to engage with customers to acquire and deepen relationships.
Education & Experience Requirements
To qualify for this role, you should have at least a high school diploma or GED and one year of experience working with customers. This experience can be demonstrated through volunteering, education, or military experience. Teller experience, customer service skills, and a Notary License are preferred but not required. You should also have strong organizational and communication skills, demonstrate problem-solving abilities, and be proficient in Microsoft Office.
Physical Requirements and Other Aspects
The job involves occasional domestic travel and frequent sedentary work. The ability to perform multiple tasks, operate standard office equipment, respond quickly to sounds, and deal with problems involving standardized situations is essential. The role also requires the ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide, and to comprehend instructions.
