The base pay for this role ranges from $22.00 – $27.75 USD per hour, which may vary based on the candidate’s skills, experience, job-related knowledge, and geographic location. Working 30 hours per week, the Banking Associate will play a crucial role in delivering TD’s brand promise and providing advice to customers to help them achieve their financial goals.
Role and Responsibilities
The Banking Associate will be responsible for accurately completing everyday banking transactions, providing advice and support on services, and educating customers on the bank’s products and tools. This role will involve a wide range of tasks in multiple areas within the store location, including processing customer transactions, opening new accounts, providing consultative support, advocating with proactive insights and recommendations, and educating customers on all banking products and services. The associate will also utilize TD’s systems and tools to engage with customers, understand their financial needs, and promote products and services.
Education & Experience Requirements
Applicants for this role are required to have a high school diploma or GED. One year of experience working with customers in any capacity is preferred, which can be demonstrated through volunteering, education, or military experience. Teller experience is also preferred, and strong organizational skills, excellent communication skills, problem-solving skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office are required. A Notary License is preferred but not mandatory.
Physical Requirements
The physical requirements for this role include frequent sitting, standing, and walking, as well as occasional lifting/carrying (under 25 lbs.), bending, and squatting. This role also requires continuous concentration, reading, writing, and math skills, and the ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide.
