This role is integral to executing TD’s Brand promise at a store location, and it entails a myriad of responsibilities, including but not limited to processing customer transactions, opening new accounts, and educating customers about their range of banking products and services.
A Day in the Life of a TD Banking Associate
As a Banking Associate, you would perform a wide range of tasks across multiple areas within a Store location. This includes processing customer transactions, delivering end-to-end advice customers expect, and utilizing TD’s systems and tools to engage with Customers to acquire and deepen relationships.
Your role would also involve understanding customer financial needs and identifying opportunities to promote and educate on products, services, and referring them to the appropriate team member or internal Bank partner. The primary objective is to provide a positive customer experience, help customers achieve their financial goals, and ultimately attract and retain customers.
Qualifications and Skills
TD values a diverse range of experiences and skills in their colleagues. The minimum requirement for this role is a high school diploma or GED. Experience working with customers in any capacity is preferred, and this can be demonstrated through volunteering, education, or even military experience. Demonstrated customer service skills are preferred, and teller experience is a plus. You will also be expected to complete Teller training and part 1 of platform training upon hire.
Excellent communication skills, strong problem-solving abilities, and organizational skills are key to succeeding in this role. You will also need proficiency in Microsoft Office, and a Notary License is preferred.
Compensation and Benefits
TD is committed to providing fair and equitable compensation opportunities to all colleagues. The pay for this position ranges from $22.00 to $27.75 USD per hour. The actual base pay offered may vary based upon the candidate’s skills and experience, job-related knowledge, geographic location, and other specific business and organizational needs.
