The Role of a Banking Associate at TD Bank

With a wide range of tasks to perform, the Banking Associate is a versatile role that encompasses providing end-to-end advice, utilizing TD’s systems and tools, understanding customer financial needs, and accurately completing everyday banking transactions. The successful candidate should also be able to manage customer wait times, engage in lobby leadership, understand and support the Bank’s customer service strategy, and ensure the completion of all required job-specific, compliance-related training.
Qualifications and Skills Required
The ideal candidate should have a high school diploma or GED and at least a year of experience working with customers in any capacity. Teller experience is preferred, and the candidate is required to complete Teller training and part 1 of platform training upon hire. Strong organizational and communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and proficiency in Microsoft Office are essential. A Notary License is preferred but not mandatory.
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions
The role requires frequent sitting, standing, and walking. Occasionally, tasks may involve lifting or carrying items under 25 lbs. The Banking Associate should be able to perform multiple tasks, operate standard office equipment, and respond quickly to sounds. Domestic travel may be required occasionally, but international travel is not part of the job requirements.
