Job Description and Compensation Details
The Banking Associate is a key player in delivering TD’s brand promise at a store location. This role includes processing everyday banking transactions, providing advice and educational support on services, products, and tools to help customers achieve their financial goals. The base pay for this position ranges from $23.75 to $31.00 USD, depending on the candidate’s skills, experience, job-related knowledge, geographic location, and other specific business and organizational needs.
What the Role Entails
The depth and scope of the Banking Associate role include a wide range of tasks across multiple areas within a store location. This includes opening new accounts, delivering end-to-end advice customers expect, understanding customer financial needs to promote and educate on products and services, and servicing customers with various banking transactions. The role also involves managing wait times, ensuring tasks are performed within established policy and procedures, and maintaining compliance with all internal/external audit and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
Applicants must have at least a high school diploma or GED and one year of customer service experience. Other qualifications include strong organization skills, excellent communication skills, demonstrated effective problem-solving skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and the ability to work independently and within deadlines. Teller experience is preferred, and a Notary License is a bonus.
Physical Requirements
Physical requirements for the role include performing multiple tasks, operating standard office equipment, sitting, standing, walking, lifting/carrying under 25 lbs. and over 25 lbs., bending, kneeling, and reading, writing and comprehending instructions.
