The Banking Associate is a professional in the banking field, responsible for performing a wide range of tasks across multiple areas within a store location. This is achieved by identifying opportunities to promote and educate on products and services, or by referring them to the appropriate team member or internal Bank partner, ensuring a positive customer experience.
Education & Experience Requirements
Prospective candidates for this role should have a high school diploma or GED and at least one year of experience working with customers in any capacity. Demonstrated customer service skills are preferred, along with the ability to work during operating hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as scheduled. Teller experience is also preferred.
Additionally, strong organizational skills are required to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication skills are necessary, with the ability to be concise, clear, and consistent. Demonstrated effective problem-solving skills, the ability to schedule and prioritize work, and sound judgment in decision-making are all crucial abilities for this role.
Physical Requirements
The role involves performing sedentary work frequently, performing multiple tasks continuously, and operating standard office equipment continuously. Responding quickly to sounds, sitting, standing, and walking are frequent activities, while moving safely in confined spaces, lifting/carrying (under 25 lbs.), squatting, bending, kneeling, crawling, climbing, reaching overhead, and reaching forward are occasional activities.
