Job Details and Compensation
The Banking Associate position is a part-time role, requiring a commitment of 30 hours per week. The pay rate for this role ranges from $22.00 to $27.75 USD. Role and Responsibilities
The Banking Associate will perform a wide range of tasks across multiple areas within a store location. This includes processing customer transactions, opening new accounts, and educating customers on all banking products and services. As part of TD’s approach to exceptional customer service, the Banking Associate will also provide end-to-end advice, including building trust with customers, providing consultative support, and making proactive insights and recommendations.
Qualifications and Skills
The ideal candidate for the Banking Associate position should possess a high school diploma or GED and at least 1-year experience working with customers. This experience can be demonstrated through any of the following: volunteering, education, or military experience. Other preferred skills include demonstrated customer service skills, strong organizational skills, excellent communication skills, demonstrated effective problem-solving skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office. Notary License is preferred but not required.
Physical Requirements and Travel
The role involves a mix of sedentary work and physical activities, including standing, walking, lifting, and carrying. Occasional domestic travel may be required. However, international travel is not part of the job requirements.
