Compensation and Benefits

TD offers a competitive compensation package of $23.75 – $31.00 USD per hour for a 20 hours per week role. The actual base pay may vary based upon the candidate’s skills and experience, job-related knowledge, geographic location, and other specific business and organizational needs. Role Description and Responsibilities

The Banking Associate plays a key role in delivering TD’s brand promise at a store location in Springfield. This professional is responsible for accurately completing everyday banking transactions and providing advice and educational support on services, products, and tools to help customers achieve their financial goals. Some of the tasks include processing customer transactions, opening new accounts, and educating customers on all banking products and services. The role also involves utilizing TD’s systems and tools to engage with customers and deepen relationships. Moreover, the Banking Associate is expected to understand customer financial needs to identify opportunities to promote and educate on products, services, and refer them to the appropriate team member or internal Bank partner.

Qualifications and Skills

The ideal candidate holds a high school diploma or GED and has at least a year of experience working with customers in any capacity. Teller experience is preferred but not a prerequisite. Proficiency in Microsoft Office is a must, and a Notary License is preferred. TD is looking for an individual with excellent communication and problem-solving skills, the ability to work independently and within deadlines, and a strong knack for organization. The candidate should demonstrate sound judgment in decision-making and problem-solving and have the ability to schedule and prioritize work.
