Job Details and Compensation
The Banking Associate position is a full-time role, offering 40 hours per week. The salary range for this position is $22.00 – $27.75 USD per hour. However, it’s important to note that the base pay offered may vary based on the candidate’s skills and experience, job-related knowledge, geographic location, and other specific business and organizational needs. Job Responsibilities
The Banking Associate is expected to perform a variety of tasks within a store location. This includes processing customer transactions, opening new accounts, and providing advice and educational support on banking products and services. The associate plays a crucial role in building trust with customers, providing consultative support, and advocating proactive insights and recommendations. They are also responsible for utilizing TD’s systems and tools to engage with customers, understand their financial needs, and promote services and products accordingly.
Qualifications and Skills
TD is looking for candidates with a high school diploma or GED and at least one year of customer service experience. Candidates with teller experience are preferred. The ideal candidate should have strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, demonstrated problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently and within deadlines. Proficiency in Microsoft Office is also required.
Customer and Shareholder Accountabilities
As a Banking Associate, the individual is expected to provide legendary customer service while transacting, promoting, educating, and referring TD Products to new and existing customers. The associate should also understand and support the Bank’s customer service strategy and consider the impact of decisions on the well-being of TD, its customers, and stakeholders. In terms of shareholder accountabilities, the associate is expected to ensure compliance with all company guidelines and regulations to minimize risk and protect the customer.
Physical Requirements
The job requires the ability to perform multiple tasks and operate standard office equipment. The associate should be able to respond quickly to sounds and be comfortable with sitting, standing, and walking frequently. Some domestic travel may be required occasionally.
