Job Description and Responsibilities
As a Banking Associate, you will play a key role in delivering TD’s Brand promise at a store location. Your responsibilities will include accurately completing everyday banking transactions, providing advice and educational support on services, products, and tools to help Customers achieve their financial goals. You will also be expected to perform a wide range of tasks across multiple areas within a Store location, including processing customer transactions, opening new accounts, and educating customers on all banking products and services.
As part of your duties, you will be expected to deliver end-to-end advice to customers, build trust with educational content & tools, provide consultative support, and advocate with proactive insights & recommendations. Additionally, you will be required to utilize TD’s systems and tools to engage with Customers, acquire and deepen relationships, understand customer financial needs, and identify opportunities to promote and educate on products and services.
Education and Experience Requirements
Candidates looking to apply for this role should possess a high school diploma or GED along with at least 1 year of experience working with customers in any capacity. Additionally, having demonstrated customer service skills, the ability to work during operating hours to include evenings, weekends and holidays, and a proficiency in Microsoft Office are preferred. A notary license is also considered a plus.
Customer, Shareholder, and Employee Accountabilities
As a Banking Associate, you will have a host of responsibilities towards the customers, shareholders, and employees. You will be expected to consistently provide exceptional customer service while transacting, promoting, educating, and referring TD Products to new and existing customers. You will also be required to understand and support the Bank’s customer service strategy, and consider the impact of decisions on the well-being of TD Bank, its customers, and stakeholders.
On the shareholder front, you are required to ensure compliance with all regulations, policies, and procedures. You must also be accountable for cash drawers and perform transactions accurately and efficiently.

Physical Requirements
The job entails some physical demands such as performing sedentary work, performing multiple tasks, operating standard office equipment, sitting, standing, and walking frequently. Occasional physical activities may include lifting/carrying (under 25 lbs.), bending, kneeling, and squatting.
