Compensation and Work Details

Working 30 hours per week, the Banking Associate can expect to earn between $22.00 and $27.75 USD per hour. Role of a Banking Associate at TD

The Banking Associate is a key player in delivering TD’s brand promise at a store location. They are responsible for accurately completing everyday banking transactions and providing advice and educational support on services, products, and tools to help customers achieve their financial goals. The role involves performing a wide range of tasks, including processing customer transactions, opening new accounts, and educating customers on banking products and services. The Banking Associate is also expected to build trust with customers and provide consultative support, proactive insights, and recommendations.

Education and Experience

For this role, TD requires a high school diploma or GED and at least 1 year of experience working with customers in any capacity. Demonstrated customer service skills are preferred, and teller experience is advantageous. The candidate should be able to demonstrate excellent communication skills, effective problem-solving skills, and the ability to schedule and prioritize work. Proficiency in Microsoft Office is also required, and a notary license is preferred.

Customer, Shareholder, and Team Accountabilities

A Banking Associate at TD is expected to deliver legendary customer service by transacting, promoting, and educating TD products to new and existing customers. They should also manage wait times to meet with a banker and engage in lobby leadership. Ensuring compliance with all regulations, policies, and procedures is also a critical part of the job.
