Compensation and Working Hours

The position offers a competitive pay rate between $22.00 – $27.75 USD. The working hours for this role are 30 hours per week. Job Description and Responsibilities

The Banking Associate is responsible for a wide range of tasks across multiple areas within a store location. This includes processing customer transactions, opening new accounts, and educating customers on all banking products and services. The role requires the associate to build trust with educational content & tools, provide consultative support, and advocate with proactive insights & recommendations. The associate will also be responsible for accurately completing everyday banking transactions either on the teller line or on the platform while uncovering customer financial needs and educating them on products, services, and tools.

Education and Experience

The ideal candidate for this role should have a high school diploma or GED. It is also preferred for the candidate to have one year of customer service experience, which can be demonstrated through volunteering, education, or military experience. Teller experience is also preferred. The candidate should be able to work during operating hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as scheduled. The candidate should also have strong organizational skills, excellent communication skills, effective problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently and within deadlines.

Customer Accountabilities

The Banking Associate is expected to provide legendary customer service while transacting, promoting, educating, and referring TD Products to new and existing customers. The associate should be able to establish and nurture customer relationships by consistently displaying product knowledge, actively listening to customer needs, and engaging in additional conversations to identify any additional needs and offer a solution or partner referral.

Shareholder Accountabilities

The Banking Associate is accountable for processing cash/deposit/withdrawal transactions and other account servicing requests accurately. They should also ensure compliance with all regulations, policies, and procedures, adhering to required controls, critical dates, and accurate documents.

The Banking Associate should contribute to a positive work environment by aligning to TD Model, Brand, and Culture by participating fully as a team member. They should actively seek opportunities to improve the delivery of work with high attention to quality standards and positively embrace change.

Physical Requirements

This role requires frequent sitting, standing, walking, and performing multiple tasks. The associate may also be required to carry items under 25 lbs. occasionally. Domestic travel is also occasionally required for this role.
