Banking Associate Role: An Opportunity to Make a Difference

The banking associate role at TD Bank is a unique opportunity to deliver on the bank’s brand promise at the store level. The role is primarily responsible for completing everyday banking transactions accurately, providing advisory support, and educating customers on various banking products, services, and tools. This guidance helps customers achieve their financial goals and deepens their relationship with the bank. The banking associate also plays a pivotal role in new account openings and customer transaction processing in the store.

Requirements and Expectations

To qualify for this role, a high school diploma or GED is required along with at least a year’s experience working with customers. This experience can be demonstrated through volunteering, education, or military experience. The candidate must possess strong organizational skills, excellent communication skills, and demonstrate effective problem-solving abilities. Proficiency in Microsoft Office is a must, and possession of a Notary License is preferred. The candidate should also be open to working during operating hours, which may include evenings, weekends, and holidays.

The compensation for the Banking Associate role ranges from $22.00 – $27.75 USD for 20 hours of work. However, the base pay offered may vary based on the candidate’s skills and experience, job-related knowledge, geographic location, and other specific business and organizational needs. TD Bank’s compensation policies and practices have been designed to allow colleagues to progress through the salary range over time as they progress in their role.
