Role and Responsibilities
The Banking Associate plays a key role in delivering TD’s brand promise at the store location. The associate is responsible for accurately completing everyday banking transactions, providing advice, and educational support on services, products, and tools to help customers achieve their financial goals.
Some of the key responsibilities include processing customer transactions, opening new accounts, educating customers on banking products and services, delivering end-to-end advice customers expect, advocating proactive insights and recommendations, and using TD’s systems and tools to engage with customers and deepen relationships.
Qualifications and Skills
The candidate must have a high school diploma or GED and at least a year of experience working with customers. The role requires strong organization skills, excellent communication skills, effective problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently and within deadlines. Proficiency in Microsoft Office is essential. A notary license is preferred.
Physical Requirements
The job requires domestic travel occasionally. The position involves performing multiple tasks, operating standard office equipment, and performing sedentary work frequently. The employee must be capable of reading, writing, comprehending instructions, and performing basic arithmetic. The employee must also be able to deal with problems involving standardized situations.
