The position offers 20 hours of work per week, with a competitive pay range of $22 to $27.75 per hour. Role Description and Responsibilities

As a Banking Associate at TD Bank, you will play a pivotal role in delivering TD’s brand promise at the branch. The responsibilities include accurately processing everyday banking transactions, providing advice, and offering educational support on services, products, and tools. Your goal is to help customers achieve their financial goals.

You will perform a wide range of tasks across multiple areas within the branch. These tasks include opening new accounts, educating customers on all banking products and services, delivering end-to-end advice, and advocating for customers with proactive insights and recommendations. Furthermore, you will leverage TD’s systems and tools to engage with customers, providing advice and guidance to acquire and deepen relationships.

Qualifications and Skills Required

For this role, a high school diploma or GED is required. One year of experience working with customers in any capacity, along with excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills, is preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Office is necessary, and a Notary license is preferred. You must also demonstrate the ability to schedule and prioritize work, make sound judgments in decision-making, and work independently within deadlines.

Customer and Shareholder Accountabilities

Your primary role as a Banking Associate is to provide legendary customer service while transacting, promoting, educating, and referring TD Products to new and existing customers. You will manage wait times, engage in lobby leadership, understand and support the bank’s customer service strategy, and drive referrals to support the broader financial needs of customers. You must also ensure compliance with all regulations, policies, and procedures and complete all required job-specific, compliance-related training.

Physical Requirements and Work Conditions

The job may occasionally require domestic travel. The work is predominantly sedentary and requires the ability to perform multiple tasks, operate standard office equipment, respond quickly to sounds, and move safely in confined spaces. Other physical activities like lifting, carrying, squatting, bending, kneeling, crawling, climbing, reaching, pushing, pulling, and twisting may be occasionally required.
