Building Your Career in Financial Services
This role requires a high school diploma or GED, and a minimum of one year’s experience working with customers. This experience can come from various fields, including volunteering, education, or military service. The role also requires excellent communication and problem-solving skills, the ability to work independently, and proficiency in Microsoft Office. A Notary License is preferred.
Your Commitment to TD’s Customers
As a Banking Associate, you will consistently provide legendary customer service while promoting TD’s products to new and existing customers. You will establish and nurture customer relationships, actively listening to their needs, and engaging in additional conversations to identify any further requirements, offering solutions or partner referrals. Your role will also involve managing wait times for customers needing to meet with a Banker, by scheduling, rescheduling, or canceling client meetings. You will also represent the first point of contact for customer inquiries in the lobby, helping to manage walk-in traffic, and resolving customer issues or setting up appointments with the appropriate experts.
Ensuring Compliance and Risk Management
You will be accountable for ensuring compliance with all company guidelines and regulations, including the Bank Secrecy Act and Patriot Act, to minimize risk and protect customers. This includes accurately processing cash/deposit/withdrawal transactions and other account servicing requests, as well as applying customer authentication principles, compliance regulations, and due diligence to new account openings and transactions.
