Compensation and Work Hours
The bank offers an attractive compensation package, with the pay range being between $22.00 and $27.75 USD per hour, based on a 40-hour work week. Job Description and Responsibilities
The Banking Associate plays a key role in delivering TD’s brand promise at a store location. The role involves processing customer transactions, opening new accounts, and educating customers on all banking products and services. The Banking Associate will also provide advice and educational support on services, products, and tools to help customers achieve their financial goals. The associate is also expected to utilize TD’s systems and tools to engage with customers, acquire and deepen relationships by providing advice and guidance to ultimately attract, and retain the customer.
Education and Experience
Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED and at least one year of experience working with customers. Demonstrated customer service skills and teller experience are preferred. Strong organization skills, excellent communication skills, demonstrated effective problem-solving skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office are necessary for this role. A Notary License is also preferred.
Customer, Shareholder, and Employee Accountabilities
The Banking Associate is expected to consistently provide legendary customer service while transacting, promoting, educating, and referring TD Products to new and existing customers. They are also responsible for managing wait times to meet with a Banker by scheduling, rescheduling or canceling client meetings and engaging in lobby leadership. Shareholder accountabilities include compliance with company guidelines and regulations, accurately processing cash/deposit/withdrawal transactions, and other account servicing requests. The associate is expected to contribute to a positive work environment by aligning to TD Model, Brand, and Culture by participating fully as a member of the team.
Physical Requirements
The job involves performing multiple tasks and operating standard office equipment continuously. It also involves occasional domestic travel, lifting/carrying items under and over 25 lbs., squatting, bending, kneeling, crawling, climbing, and reaching overhead and forward.
