Banking Associates can expect to earn $22.00 – $27.75 per hour, with the base pay varying based on the candidate’s skills, experience, job-related knowledge, and geographic location. Role and Responsibilities of a Banking Associate
As a Banking Associate, you will play a pivotal role in delivering TD’s Brand promise at a store location. This role includes accurately completing everyday banking transactions, providing advice, and offering educational support on services, products, and tools to help Customers achieve their financial goals.
The job requires an individual to perform a wide range of tasks across multiple areas within a Store location. This includes processing customer transactions, opening new accounts, and educating customers on all banking products and services. Banking Associates are also expected to deliver end-to-end advice customers expect by building trust with educational content & tools, providing consultative support, and advocating with proactive insights & recommendations.
Required Education & Experience
Candidates for this position need a high school diploma or GED. A year of experience working with customers in any capacity is preferred, which can be demonstrated through any of the following: volunteering, education, or military experience. Other preferred skills and abilities include demonstrated customer service skills, teller experience, strong organizational skills, excellent communication skills, effective problem-solving skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office. A Notary License is also preferred.
Physical Requirements
This role includes both sedentary and active tasks. Frequent sitting, standing, and walking are part of the job. Occasional domestic travel may be required. Other physical activities like lifting/carrying (under 25 lbs.), squatting, bending, kneeling, crawling, climbing, and reaching overhead may be occasionally required. The role also demands concentration for long periods of time and the application of common sense to deal with problems involving standardized situations.
