TD is currently offering an exciting opportunity for a Banking Associate at its Neptune, New Jersey location. This role is key in delivering TD’s brand promise at a store location. The Banking Associate is responsible for accurately completing everyday banking transactions and providing advice and educational support on services, products, and tools to help customers achieve their financial goals.

Role Responsibilities and Expectations
The Banking Associate is expected to perform a wide range of tasks across multiple areas within a store location, including processing customer transactions, opening new accounts, and educating customers on all banking products and services. The associate is responsible for building trust with educational content & tools, providing consultative support, and advocating with proactive insights & recommendations. A key aspect of this role is to understand customer financial needs and identify opportunities to promote and educate on products and services, or refer them to the appropriate team member or internal Bank partner.
Qualifications and Skills
Applicants for the Banking Associate position should ideally possess a high school diploma or GED, and at least 1 year of experience working with customers in any capacity. Demonstrated customer service skills, teller experience, strong organizational skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office are preferred. Additionally, the ability to work independently and within deadlines, demonstrate effective problem-solving skills, and possess sound judgment in decision making is crucial for this role.
Physical Requirements
The role requires the incumbent to perform multiple tasks and operate standard office equipment continuously. The associate may also need to move safely in confined spaces, lift or carry items weighing up to 25 lbs., and apply common sense to deal with problems involving standardized situations.
