The Banking Associate is a pivotal role in a TD Bank store location. As a professional in banking, this role is primarily accountable for accurately completing everyday banking transactions and providing advice and educational support on services, products, and tools to help customers achieve their financial goals.
Key Responsibilities and Scope
A Banking Associate at TD Bank performs a wide range of tasks across multiple areas within a store location. These tasks include processing customer transactions, opening new accounts, and educating customers on all banking products and services. The Banking Associate is also responsible for delivering end-to-end advice customers expect, utilizing TD’s systems and tools to engage with customers to acquire and deepen relationships, understanding customer financial needs, and servicing the customer on both the teller line and platform as needed.
Qualifications and Experience
The ideal candidate for a Banking Associate should at least have a high school diploma or a GED. The candidate should also have a minimum of 1 year of experience working with customers in any capacity. This experience can be demonstrated through any of the following: volunteering, education, or military experience. Preferred skills include demonstrated customer service skills, teller experience, and a Notary License.
