Job Offer Details
The successful candidate will be expected to work 40 hours a week and will be offered a competitive pay between $22.00 – $27.75 USD. Role Description: Banking Associate
The Banking Associate role is key to delivering TD’s brand promise at the store location. This role involves accurately completing everyday banking transactions and providing advice and educational support on services, products, and tools to help customers achieve their financial goals. The Banking Associate will perform a wide range of tasks across multiple areas within the store, such as processing transactions, opening new accounts, and providing advice and guidance to customers.
Education & Experience Requirements
Applicants should have a high school diploma or GED and at least 1 year of customer-facing experience. This can be demonstrated through volunteering, education, or military experience. Teller experience is preferred. Strong organization skills, excellent communication abilities, effective problem-solving skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office are essential for this role. A notary license is also preferred.
Customer, Shareholder, and Employee Responsibilities
The Banking Associate will consistently provide legendary customer service, manage wait times, engage in lobby leadership, and understand and support the Bank’s customer service strategy. They will also ensure compliance when completing operational activities in accordance with company guidelines and regulations. In addition, the employee is expected to contribute to a positive work environment, act as a brand champion, collaborate with team members, and actively seek opportunities for improvement.
Physical Requirements
The role requires the ability to perform multiple tasks, operate standard office equipment, respond quickly to sounds, sit, stand, and walk frequently, and move safely in confined spaces occasionally. Lifting/carrying under 25 lbs and over 25 lbs is also occasionally required.
